Organized by INIRE (International Network for Interreligious Research and Education) Religion is an efficient means in dealing with crises; it gives them meaning and context, and provide solace when there are no mundane options to cope with them. Nonetheless, sometimes religions generate crises, like holy wars and false messianic expectations. In this proposed panel, the way that various theologies and religious practice scope with crises and/or catalyze crises will be explored.
